- Folkpick is a non profit label which aims at promoting folk music from all over India. This debut venture features Basudeb Das singing baul songs which resonate the earthy mysticism of Bengal. Well known in the baul circuit in Shantiniketan, Bolpur, Basudeb is a multi instrumentalist and vocalist who is a hardcore purist in approach, rendering all his songs in the true traditional form.
